Africa Appointments was a recruitment business with the unusual combination of being a recruitment partner for the top businesses in South Africa including South African Breweries, Telkom, Sun International, Standard Bank, Eskom and multiple Government departments and having an effective social empowerment division.

Projects included building a Library and Computer center in the largest squatter camp development in South Africa called Orange Farm and educating, mentoring and developing hundreds of previously disadvantaged people.  Many who have gone on to do amazing things.

Tracy was known as a "Unicorn Recruiter" in her field, a person that has a natural ability to connect people to their purpose.

In 2004 Tracy and her family  immigrated to Australia and she carried on her career in recruitment, setting up a business with offices in Sydney and Johannesburg, South Africa specializing in large international mining recruitment projects.

One of the successful projects was recruiting 48 Engineers and Trades people and their families for One Steel in Whyalla. Managing all the recruitment and logistics with her team in South Africa, Whyalla, the town and the schools flourished with the additional families.

After a few exciting years and lots of travel Tracy decided to take all her knowledge and experience and try make a difference in the "not for profit" sector - starting in Mandurah and managing a job active site.

Tracy fully embraced this new environment and set about assisting the most vulnerable people in our community.  Taking on multiple roles in the "system" and learning everything she could including becoming a qualified trainer.

Tracy moved to Esperance and through a co founded incorporated not for profit SEEDWA, www.seedwa.org, set up the SEED Community Hub, SEED Business Hub and spearheaded multiple community projects and initiatives, including initiating bringing much needed public transport to Esperance.
